This is a 63 page flipchart used for instruction of K.CC.5: Count to answer “How many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
The first twenty pages have directions such as “Drag 7 turtles to the box.” The objects are all set to Drag a Copy so that they duplicate themselves and the correct number can be dragged to the box. Teachers can always change the numbers on these slides so that they can be used over and over again.
The next twenty pages have a rectangular array of 20 circles. Students click on the paint can and fill the number of circles indicated on the card. Pages can be reset and reused.
Twenty-one slides are set with containers to teach counting objects. On each page there is a box containing a certain number of objects from 0-20. Students must count the objects and drag the correct number to the box. If the answer is correct, it will stay. If the answer is incorrect, the answer will bounce back out.
