Do you teach literacy skills in your class? Then use these task cards as formative assessment for Common Core English Language Arts (ELA) Anchor Standards for Reading. They can be used for bell ringers, exit slips, small group work, or learning station activities. Furthermore, these can be used with almost any text in any secondary class.
Depending on how you choose to use them, these task cards can be used for individual instruction, working with partners, working in small groups, and rotating through learning stations. Additionally, you can create your own questions and activities with the blank task card templates.
There are 12 task cards and a response handout. Two versions have been included for use depending on your copy machine (mine works best with the reverse pages). If you find these beneficial to your instruction, please leave feedback.
