Product Description
Homophone Errors - they are like fingernails on a chalkboard for English teachers! I zeroed in on five very simple, yet sadly common, homophone errors I often see in my students' papers (your/you're, their/they're/there, to/too/two, lose/loose, and are/our) in the hopes of vanquishing them once and for all. In this lesson provide definitions, examples, and active student engagement practice for each set of homophones, and finish with a worksheet (answer key provided). The lesson itself, which requires note-taking, should take about twenty minutes, with about ten minutes for the worksheet and another ten for corrections in class. - Rae Galeazzi
