Please press PREVIEW to see the examples of this tool.
This tool has 8 different colored sets of cards for Common Core 8 Standards for math. The 144 questions may be separated according to each standard or the problems which the students have to solve. Use each set of the 18 cards with several problems, so students may realize that problems require a lot of in-depth thinking. For example, one question asks how to estimate the answer, while another question asks how vocabulary could be applied?
More practice will let students notice similarities among the questions within the different standards or between peers. A practice test and the enclosed evaluation sheet will enable the students and you to notice their improvements. Of course, this tool may be used in rotation or groups.
Group task cards are included, so students may be differentiated according to the shapes, colors, numbers or letters on the card. Please attach each card to a desk, after it has been laminated.
