It's a pack of 58 grammar/vocabulary cards with examples and short explanations showing the most typical mistakes by learners of English at levels from A2 to B1.
I created them as a reference guide for typical mistakes as well as a visual which can be used at English classes in various ways.
I made a picture for most mistakes my individual students made more than 3-5 times during the course. After a speaking practice activity, we had a 5-minute accuracy focus activity where I showed them the picture and we discussed the way they said it and made more correct examples. The visual worked as a strong reminder because, later, when they made this mistake again, all I needed to do was to show them a picture and they corrected themselves quickly and noticed this correction - it didn’t slip away from them.
These cards can be used by beginner and experienced ESL and EFL teachers in different ways. I only teach adults so I suggest using them with teenagers and adults learners.
I have included the Usage Guide and Index into the product so you can see which language items were covered and more info on how to use this photo pack.
It’s also worth mentioning that my students are mostly native speakers of Slavic languages (Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Czech). I would expect the mistakes set to be different for students with our language background.
