A common and proper noun pack!
In this pack:
self checking QR codes
The self checking QR codes are great for teacher and students. I have the nouns taped up around my room. Students will walk around and decide if the noun is common or proper. Once they have completed the worksheet, they will ask for my phone to check their answers (you must have a QR reader app on your phone-mine was free). There is an answer key provided in case teachers wanted to check them themselves. I love this because students can check their answers on their own!
I love playing SCOOT! I use this game to review skills. I put a card on each desk and students have a clipboard, a pencil, and their recording sheet. They will stand up throughout the whole lesson. Students start at their own desk. They will have 20-30 seconds to decide if the noun is proper or common. On the top of each card is a letter that corresponds to the recording sheet. Students will find the letter that matches on the recording sheet and write common or proper. Once time is up teacher will say "Scoot!" and the students will move to the desk on their right side. It's a great tool to test their skills and understanding of the topic while getting them up and moving!
