Common and Proper Noun Task Cards
Included are three sets of task cards designed to help your students practice identifying common and proper nouns. Each set is created with a different task in mind and requires slightly different skill and effort.
Set One: The first set presents words to the students and they have to identify it as a common or proper noun.
Set Two: Students read a sentence and look for the underlined word. When they find it, they need to identify it as a common or proper noun.
Set Three: Students read a sentence and locate the proper noun in the sentence. They need to rewrite it correctly on the recording sheet.
You can assign them as an individual set or mix and match cards from each set to make a more customized center. Each set has been numbered 1-12, so switching out cards from other sets is easy to do!
