This engaging, activity puts a fun spin on identifying the nouns in a sentence, and then determining whether each one is a common noun or a proper noun.
It also makes a creative bulletin board or school hallway display for October around the time of Halloween!
Students will complete a worksheet where they practice two skills.
1. First, they identify the nouns in the sentence by underlining them.
2. Then they label each noun as common or proper.
Finally, they use the words on the worksheet as they assemble the craftivity.
Student-friendly directions are included so that you can place the directions under your document camera, and students can refer to them as they complete the project. (An answer key is also included.)
