I have included a game set of 12 matches with clipart (pages 4-7) for students who may need confirmation that they have a match and a games set of 12 matches without clipart (pages 8-11). I have also included a student recording page so they can record and turn in their matches. Teachers can use this for a formative or summative assessment. Here are some suggestions for how I use this product in my classroom.
It can be used as a memory game, sorting activity, activating strategy, pre- or post-assessment, or remediation.
These two versions can be used as differentiated instruction, clipart for struggling students and without for students who just need practice.
The two versions can be used as a an activating strategy where the students are matching the clipart first and deciding why the matches go together.
This game can be used as an educational indoor recess activity.
This game can be used as review before a test.
Feel free to use these as you see fit! Enjoy making education fun and positive.
