------- PICTURE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM-------
Starting with PECS is expensive and a little overwhelming… and not all students are successful with picture exchange. But you need a visual communication system for your students. What do you do? Start here! This PCS (Picture Communication System) is a less expensive, less cumbersome, and more convenient way to get verbal communication into you classroom that builds on social interactions.
Communication Flip Book
can be used in the classroom as an instructional tool to increase student communication and help them to share wants and needs as well as socialize. I have used this with great success with students who are nonverbal as well as echolalic.
