Product Description
Are your students learning about the types of communities? Would you like a fun, end of unit activity? This Communities unit provides pictures of different types of buildings and a form for students to make rural, urban, and suburban communities.
**Note: This only includes a planning sheet and the pictures of the buildings. You will need to supply the other materials with things easily found in your classroom.
Simple Directions:
Very easy to do! Students collect empty milk cartons from their school lunch and rinse them out. Then students decide the types of buildings that will be in their communities and color and paste them onto the milk cartons. Last students add other items such as roads, parks, and other community buildings in their communities.
This can also be used as a speaking and listening grade since I have students discuss the types of communities.
