"Communities in Canada - British Columbia: Chinese and Japanese Settlers" is a 4 page lesson that explores the historical Chinese and Japanese communities who settled in British Columbia in the 1880's through to the 1950's.
Students will learn about the factors that brought these two different Asian communities to Canada. They will also learn how both communities faced discrimination, and the apologies offered by Canada many years later.
