Have a look at the full lesson using the preview button above!
This lesson is meant to be a historical snapshot of native communities in Canada by region and would work well as an intro to First Nations in Canada or a study on past communities in Canada. The lesson covers how First Nation communities first immigrated to North America, unique features of groups by region, and the negative impact European contact had on their communities. At the end are two reflection questions for students to work on.
