Establishing the traits of a good classroom citizen sets the foundation for a strong classroom community for the remainder of the year. This tic-tac-toe style activity menu, provides students academic choice in learning these qualities, while integrating Language Arts into this civics lesson. Depending on how it is utilized, this menu could support learning for 3 days to 2 weeks time. The activities included support RC.
-Two tic-tac-toe style classroom community menus (one for non-writers and one for writers)
-Honest and Trustworthy traits picture and word sorts (color and B&W)
-End of year visualization recording sheets (grades K-3)
-Rubrics for scoring Civics and Language Arts concepts (one for non-writers and one for writers)
