Are you looking for an interesting and fun way for your students to do community helper report? This Community Helper Lapbook is your answer!
Included are foldables for your students to use to organize their research. These are glued into the lapbook, which is a folded file folder. I've included picture directions on how to make the lapbook base also. Students will gather and report information about the helpers job duties, where they work, equipment they use, the education needed and more!
To make their report writing even more a breeze, I've included two graphic organizers; one to help generate ideas and another to help them format their paragraph (or more) report.
Their final report is then stapled into the middle of the lapbook, with the graphic organizers stacked underneath. So all papers are tidy and put together for grading.
This is a great way for students to practice researching a topic, gathering information, and working with nonfiction text features.
