This is a pack of 10 community outing printable activities for high school life skills students with disabilities.
The focus of most of the activities includes locating store departments, aisles, products, and prices. Students will also need to estimate totals, compare generic brands, and determine if they have enough money for a purchase, etc. Focus topics include: cleaning products, supermarkets, pharmacies, customer service, toiletries and more.
Before each community outing, I pre-teach the activity and review worksheet vocabulary, etc. Students place their worksheets on a clipboard and take it with them along with a pencil. Activities are reviewed in the classroom after the outing.
These activities allow you to assess skills to see if they have been generalized into the real community setting!
*Worksheets can be used over and over in different store settings!
