When learning about the community, it is essential that my students learn about the people that work at various jobs. It is also important for the students to know what those workers need to complete their jobs. This activity could also be used as a visual transition assessment to see what interests each student. In my search for more community worker activities and transition assessments, I ended up making my own and I am currently working on more. This could be a group activity or used as task cards. Print out a few and send home for homework! I use this with my 6-12 grade special education students.
