This is a chart that I use to practice emotions in my class. The kids love having something they can interact with to practice. This is a great stand alone activity for students to make and take home or can be pasted into an interactive notebook!
Directions: I supply this page to each of my students. To explain how to do this I refer to it as a pizza, because that is what it looks like. On the 'crust', students will write 'Estoy...' and complete it with an emotion. On each pepperoni, the students will draw and color an emoji that fits with the 'Estoy...' statement. I then laminate these for each of my students, although it is not necessary.
Once they receive the laminated copied back, they cut out the small circle and the arrow and piece them together with a fastener so they can turn the arrow to represent how they are feeling each day. They can keep these in their folders to practice, or attach magnets (you can get magnetic tape at Walmart for about $2) to the back and hang it in their locker or on their fridge at home!
***The arrow should be sandwiched between the small circle and the large circle.
