Every year, I do this compare & contrast activity with my class. The idea is to have the kids see how they are the same as and different from others in the class, particularly their partner.
First, I give each partner group two copies of the questions. Each student fills them out on his/her own. Then they can look at their answers together and discuss where to write them at on the Venn Diagram (we would have gone over how to use/read this type of diagram the day before). They can each write their names above their circle on the diagram.
Then, at art time, I have them draw small self-portraits of themselves. Finally, glue down the diagram paper with corresponding pics onto a large sheet of construction paper and add a title at the top!
They usually turn out pretty cute, and I leave them up for parents to see at open house. :)
