Compare Decimals Drag and Drop, an interactive resource that allows students to practice and demonstrate their mastery with the skill of comparing decimals.
Click "PREVIEW" above to see a video demonstration of this resource.
The file contains 20 pages of practice examples, and the pages are linked for easy navigation. This resource is great for a classroom (or lab) equipped with several computers. Just load the file onto a shared network folder, and all students can easily access it and be able to work on the same file at the same time.
This file also works very well if you want to use it with small groups or one-on-one settings.
The exercises in these drag and drop resources are designed to be used as formative assessments. After a student completes the task on a page, the answer should be checked by the teacher, TA, or peer checker before the student goes on to the next item.
The only software you need for this file to run is Google's free Chrome browser. (Actually, it should run under other modern browsers, but I tested it out exclusively on Chrome, the only browser I use.)
As with all the items I have available, this file has been developed by me, a veteran teacher dedicated to the philosophy of promoting math fluency and skill mastery through fun.
