This activity is aligned with both Common Core State Standards (4.NBT.A2) and the new math TEKS (4.2C).
4.2C - compare and order whole numbers to 1 billion, and represent the comparison using symbols
4.NBT.A.2 - use place value understanding to compare two multi-digit numbers and represent the comparison with symbols
This set of 24 colorful task cards was created to give 4th and 5th grade students practice with comparing (using symbols) and ordering numbers to the billions. You can use this as a whole group review, in stations, early finisher work, or as a Scoot game or 4 corners game format. I have included an answer key and a game board.
