Product Description
This is a reader's response activity that goes along with The Gingerbread Man by Jim Aylesworth and The Gingerbread Girl by Lisa Campbell. These two similar stories are great to use when teaching your students to compare and contrast. After reading, students can use the pocket chart activity to practice identifying story elements that are unique to each story and elements that occurred in both stories. I have included several student response sheets that can be used as assessment tools to determine their level of understanding using this particular comprehension strategy.

This pack includes:
- Pocket Chart Sorting Cards
- Independent Student Sorting Activity
- Reader Response Worksheets (3)
