This is a graphic organizer that can be used to compare and contrast the structures of two pieces of informational text, and is aligned with common core standards.
Contents: A one-page graphic organizer, with a map for comparing and contrasting the text structures of two different text selections. The graphic organizer allows students to use the topic, main idea, and text evidence to identify the structure. There are two questions below the graphic organizer that allow students to consider the similarities and differences between the structures of the two texts, and the evidence that supports those similarities and differences.
