This lesson is chock-full of higher order thinking about landforms. Students will use various resources (textbooks, library books, even the internet if needed) to research various landforms. They will then take two landforms and compare and contrast them using a Venn diagram and complete sentences. This is a lesson made for working in small groups, so I've included a group and self assessment.
I left the landform labels blank so they could be filled in based on your curriculum and locality. When I introduced this lesson in my class, I had a flipchart that I made for my ActivBoard with local landforms the students would recognize.
