Product Description

This fun lesson would be perfect for identify the similarities (comparing) and differences (contrasting) of the various story elements found in the stories "Miss Nelson is Missing" and "Miss Nelson is Back". In this pack you will get a Venn Diagram for organizing information, a table for writing identifying the various story elements (plot, character, conflict, solution, theme) of both stories. I have also included a writing sheet for your students to use to combine all of the information they find.

Ease of Use:

I would start with completing the story elements handout first. From there, students can easily identify the similarities and difference in order to fill out the Venn Diagram. Lastly, using the information in the Venn Diagram students can then form their writing on how the two stories share similarities, but also have differences.

These books are so much fun and I have even attached a link to the digital read aloud version of the books for your convenience.
