I use this graphic organizer to have my students compare several texts. Sometimes we use it to compare texts by the same author and other times we use it to compare texts with a similar message. It is a simple way to help students organize their thoughts as they are reading multiple texts. Since it is a side by side comparison, students can see patterns within the texts. Students can use this graphic organizer to support any written responses they need to do.
*This organizer is also bundled in my Author Study Pack for Eve Bunting found here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Author-Study-Eve-Bunting-968833
