Use this free no prep activity to help your students practice comparing and contrasting two nonfiction texts on a similar topic.
Students must read two short reading comprehension passages, both on the topic of hurricanes. Then, students answer guided questions about the passages, thinking carefully about similarities and differences between the two. Finally, students complete a cut and paste Venn Diagram activity that requires them to compare and contrast the two passages.
