These alterable worksheets are written at three levels of difficulty to make differentiation simple. There are four pages:
1. A step by step explanation/instruction sheet of how to write a compare and contrast paragraph with examples and highlighted writing terminology. This can be used alone, as a review, or with the matching fill-in-the-blank worksheet.
2. The super-basic beginning level worksheet is fill-in-the-blank, and matches the instruction sheet. This works well for students who don't understand the concept or vocabulary of compare and contrast writing.
3. A graphic organizer for those students who find it easier to fill in boxes. The same steps and terminology as the instruction sheet is used, but with less explanation. Students can use this worksheet on their own, or along with the instruction sheet.
4. A worksheet that uses listing and minimal instructions for students who are proficient writers and understand the terminology. This worksheet can also be used in conjunction with the instruction sheet if needed.
