A Guide On Teaching Students How to Organize Their Oral Language Skills Along With Monthly Home Practice Sheets and Therapy Cards
Students often struggle in organizing their thoughts when verbally comparing and contrasting objects. This handout will help you explicitly teach children the organizational skills needed to successfully compare and contrast objects. Students will need to scaffold their existing vocabulary skills in order to achieve success in comparing and contrasting. Skills include, but not limited to, describing functions; using adjectives; and providing a category label.
Monthly theme based practice sheets and therapy cards are provided to reinforce skills.
