This product is a great tool for helping your students learn how to compare and contrast two pieces of text! This is a skill that all kids need to learn, but it is often difficult for them to master! Use this product to help them compare THREE SETS OF TEXT!

Product Details:
Set #1: Comparing and Contrasting Camp Letters
- Your students will be asked to read two letters written from two different kids at camp. They will answer a few questions and then complete the following writing prompt: “How are Michelle’s and Luke’s experiences making friends at camp different? Cite text evidence to support your answer.”

Set #2: Comparing and Contrasting Newspaper Articles
- Your students will be asked to read two newspaper articles about a Fall Celebration being held in Philadelphia. They will answer a few questions and then complete the following writing prompt: “Compare and contrast the authors’ points of view in each newspaper article. Cite text evidence to support your answer.”

Set #3: Comparing and Contrasting Two Pieces of Text about Pandas
- Your students will be asked to read two pieces of text about pandas. One is a non-fiction piece and the other is a fictional story. They will answer a few questions and then complete the following writing prompt: “Compare and contrast the two pieces of text about pandas. How are they similar and how are they different? Be sure to cite evidence to support your answer.”
