Compare and Contrast Yeh-Shen to Cinderella

In the lesson, Compare and Contrast Yeh-Shen to Cinderella, students will engage in a rigorous literature study through exploring features of Chinese fairytales and comparing them to U.S. and European stories and fables.
1) Identify story elements (characters, setting, problem and solution) in the fairy tale Yeh Shen on the computer.
2) Use an iPad to retell the story.
3) Compare and contrast Yeh Shen to the traditional Cinderella fairy tale.
