Product Description
Are you looking for math activities to help your students understand how to compare and order whole numbers, fractions, and decimals? Then look no more. You will find a collection of 22 activities that teach students how to compare and order numbers in fun and motivating ways.
Some activities include:
?Students working in groups take turns throwing 4 dice at the same time to create a 4-digit number that includes a whole number part and a decimal part from the numbers showing. The student-created numbers are arranged in least to greatest order by the group.
?A whole class activity in which a volunteer goes to the board and writes a decimal on the board that was written on his or her index card. The student then calls on another student to go to the board and instructs this student to write a decimal that is greater than and less than the displayed decimal.

Section One contains a numbered list of descriptions of activities. Each activity is explained using a step-by-step process, identifying the group size and materials needed to complete the task. Some of the activities have matching activity sheets which are found in Section Two. The top right side of each activity sheet corresponds with the matching activity number. An answer key is conveniently provided in Section Three.
