Each worksheet has sections for students to *read the problem * draw the problem *write the problem and *solve the problem.
There is an “I can” page for directions if you use it as independent work or in a center.
These pages help students to organize their work.
If your classroom is working on number lines drawings or tens frames there are resources on these pages for your classroom to use.
I have also used these to model on the smart board for students to then solve at their desks through gradual release.
There are a few different types of comparing problems – some are more difficult than others – I included them all for various levels in the classroom. You can mix them up and use they as you need.
