Product Description
This multi-page worksheet first uses a graphic organizer for students to directly compare and contrast a book and movie; however, it goes further to have students analyze mood from beginning to end and how a setting may affect the characters. It ends with students analyzing director's take on the film such as lighting, angles, etc. which meets standard CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.7.7 - Compare and contrast a written story, drama, or poem to its audio, filmed, staged, or multimedia version, analyzing the effects of techniques unique to each medium (e.g., lighting, sound, color, or camera focus and angles in a film).
