Middle School students are given the task to compare the prices of three cell phone plans at the company they work for. They must understand which is the best price under different circumstances for different customers. They are asked to come up with each equation, table, and graph, and then write a paragraph about their findings. In the process, students will learn how equations, tables, and graphs relate, and what a linear relationship looks like. This activity comes with instructions, and pre-made tables and the coordinate plane. Absolutely no planning necessary - unless you would like to work out the problems for yourself! This could take 45 minutes to 1 hour.
