Description

A quick and fun game to practice comparing numbers and quantities! Similar to the traditional card game "War" students face off and compare numbers and quantities.

Students each play a card. The student who has the card with more wins! Continue until one student has all the cards!

There are 2 versions of this activity:

Comparing quantities with pictures
Comparing numerals

Students are encouraged to make comparisons such as "there are more ____ than __" or "there are fewer __ than ___"

This center aligns to Common Core Standards: K.CC.4 and K.CC.6
