In this activity, students will work in groups to compare and order decimals.
Work with your group to complete the following.
Cut out each of the cards on your Decimals Handout.
Place all cards upside down in a stack.
Flip over the top card, and lay it in the center of the table.
Take turns drawing cards and placing them in order from least to greatest in the center of the table.
Once all cards are laid out in order from least to greatest, tape the cards together making a decimals banner.
