These 3rd grade Common Core activities will compare fractions using benchmark numbers. I have created each set of worksheets with the same problems in three different formats. (for a total of 3 different sets of problems)
The first worksheet has the fractions and empty circles for the students to draw fractional pieces to use to compare & to show their rationale for choosing which is bigger.
The second sheet has the fractions and circles that are already partitioned into fractional pieces. The students just have to shade in the circles to match the fractions before comparing them.
The third sheet has the fractions, circles that are partitioned and shaded in for those students who have greater needs.
All three sheet have the same problems-it's just that the sheets are scaffolded to meet the individual abilities of your students.
This is a pack of all 3 of my "Comparing Fractions Using Benchmark Fractions (Tiered)" sets at a reduced price.
This includes all answer keys.
If you would like to purchase my "Comparing Fractions w/Same Denominator Pack (Tiered)", or "Comparing Fractions w/Different Denominator Pack (Tiered)" Check out my site. I also have other items for fractions practice.
