Need a fun game to motivate your class to practice comparing fractions?
This document contains 52 playing cards to use that compare fractions less than one. For this game, students play to compare who has the fraction with the highest value. They play until someone has all the cards or whoever has the most cards when the teacher ends the game. Each fraction has an equivalent fraction, so kids can play "war" during the game. Check the 2nd page for rules if you are unfamiliar with how this is played.
It's a great resource to use for remediation, enrichment, review, extra practice, centers, or just for fun.
