Help your students learn how to compare fractions in a more "sensical" way. Meaning, we aren't teaching an algorithm. We are teaching them a way to make SENSE of fractions by benchmarking them with 0, 1/2, and 1.

This product is differentiated in multiple ways:
-Easier to more challenging fractions to benchmark
-Progresses to mixed numbers
-Multiple ways for students to benchmark their fractions (graphic organizers or number lines)
-Simplifying fractions can be incorporated if desired
-As an extension, students can create their own benchmarks to use to compare the fractions.
