I am glad your students benefited from using them. Since they did can you explain why 4 stars instead of 5? This is the only way I can improve resources. Tigermagic@bellsouth.net Thank you!

Thank you for your purchase! Since this is a great resource can you please elaborate why you took a star off giving me 4 stars instead of 5 so I can improve the resource as great doesn't help me and I want my customers completely satisfied. Tigermagic@bellsouth.net

Great resource. The only issue was the equal sign on the task cards. I didn't notice it until my students were confused - "Are we solving or comparing?" I just had them ignore the equal sign, simple enough solution - still a helpful resource for students to practice.

This was made this way years ago so if a teacher wanted to write in the addition or subtraction symbol into the circle they would have yet another way to use these cards. Thank you for your purchase.

Explain equivalence of fractions in special cases, and compare fractions by reasoning about their size.
Compare two fractions with the same numerator or the same denominator by reasoning about their size. Recognize that comparisons are valid only when the two fractions refer to the same whole. Record the results of comparisons with the symbols >, =, or <, and justify the conclusions, e.g., by using a visual fraction model.
