Comparing Functions Solve and Color – Even middle school students love to color! This is an easy prep way to keep students practicing math while having fun. There are so many ways to use this coloring activity including small group practice, extra practice, an assignment after testing, homework, or a quick reinforcement activity. Students compare the rate of change for different functions and color a picture the appropriate color to correspond with the solution.
For this activity, students should be able to find the rate of change from a table, graph, equation or verbal description.
