Product Description

The Revolutionary War is a conflict that encompassed many different groups of people. Often times, many students only get one point of view, and that is the American point of view. As young historians, they should be exposed to all sides of the conflict, which includes learning about the Hessian and British soldiers who fought American Colonists for nearly eight years.

In this product, you will be provided with links to three online articles than can be printed out. You don't have to use these, but they are the suggested as they can be easily read by students at different reading levels. The assignment itself contains a graphic organizer or three extra questions so students can make connections between the articles and both groups of people.

This is an activity I do every year in my classroom, and it really helps the students understand another group of people who were a part of the American experience during the American Revolution.
