This lesson is a great way to introduce or reinforce ordering numbers. The activities include base 10 cubes. Graphics show blocks and ask students to name the number represented as well as choose the largest or smallest number. Other slides ask students to place numbers in order from least to greatest.
Comparing numbers portion of the activity introduces the alligator and shows how to use the "alligator mouth" to represent greater than or less than. Several slides ask for greater than, less than symbols to be placed as the answer. Great mini lesson or review. Colorful slides keep student's attention and make the lesson fun. A must have for your math class.
