A 2nd grade comparing numbers activity using greater than and less than symbols by cutting out the numbers at the bottom, shuffling them, and having the students randomly choose two from the pile to compare.
I included a blank template to write your own numbers or have the students generate their own for differentiation.
2.NBT.A.4 "I can compare two three-digit numbers based on the meanings of the hundreds, tens, and ones digits. I can use >, =, and <; symbols to record the results of comparisons."
This is a worksheet that would be great for enrich at the 1st grade level and reteach at the 3rd grade level.
