Description

Kids will love building towers and comparing them! Students build towers of cubes to match the pictures or numerals. They compare the towers using vocabulary such as "more than," "fewer than," or "less than."

There are 4 versions of this activity:

  • Comparing 2 quantities with pictures
  • Comparing 3 quantities with pictures
  • Comparing 2 numerals
  • Comparing 3 numerals

Students are encouraged to make comparisons such as "there are more ____ than __" or "there are fewer __ than ___"

This center aligns to Common Core Standards: K.CC.4 and K.CC.6
