4 Comparing Numbers Games

Game 1: Number Order (least to greatest or greatest to least): Student will draw 3 cards and place them in order from either least to greatest or greatest to least

Game 2: Comparing Numbers with Symbols (>, <, =): Student will draw one card and place it in the first spot on the work mat. The student will draw a second card and place it in the third spot on the work mat. The student will then determine which symbol they will need to put in the middle to make the number sentence true.

Game 3: Comparing Numbers with Words (greater than, less than, equal to): Student will draw one card and place it in the first spot on the work mat. The student will draw a second card and place it in the third spot on the work mat. The student will then determine which word card they will need to put in the middle to make the number sentence true.

Game 4: Comparing Numbers Reverse >, < =: Student places a symbol in the middle of the work mat. The student will then draw two cards and determine how to position the cards on the work mat to make the number sentence true.

These games are great for independent centers or group centers!
