What is a Math Picture Puzzle?

Each picture puzzle focuses on one or more math skills. Students will get a worksheet/practice page with math problems for them to solve or answer as well as a sheet with all the puzzle pieces jumbled up. There are 16 puzzle pieces to each puzzle that contain the answers to the questions/problems.

Once they complete the worksheet, they will cut the puzzle pieces and paste each one into the box that matches their answer. If they answered all the problems correctly, they will be able to put together the puzzle and reveal the hidden picture. The completed puzzle can then be used as a coloring activity.

*** TIP: Print, cut, and laminate the puzzle pieces so you can use them many times ***

Math picture puzzles are great self-checking activities and are perfect supplements to your math lessons! They are also great for early finishers, small groups and pair activities, individual practice, homework, and more!
