Scoot is such a fun way to assist students with comparing numbers! There are 20 different scoot cards included! Each scoot card allows students to practice comparing numbers using inequality sumbols (>,<,=) and reading vocabulary (greater than, less than).
There is also a recording sheet for students to write their answers on.
Never played scoot before???
Step 1: Print out scoot cards on cardstock and laminate for long use
Step 2: Place 1 Scoot card on each student's desk and give each student a recording sheet
Step 4: Give students appropriate amount of time to solve the card in front of them
Step 5: Yell "SCOOT!" once all students are finished solving their scoot card- students must move to the desk next to them and solve the next card
**Repeat steps 4 & 5 until all students have solved all 20 scoot cards
Suggestion: if you have more than 20 students, allow those students a "brain break" where they can do jumping jacks or hop on one foot behind the desk while waiting to scoot
