Product Description
This activity is designed to be a project grade, but can be tweaked to work within the confines of classwork and Homework. The purpose of this assignment is to connect the present and the past together, examining how Obama approached the Great Recession and comparing it to FDR's response to the Great Depression. If used as an in-class activity, it is very likely the analysis of the text alone could take up to 3 days. The overall project ends with the students having to compare and contrast the similarities and differences between the Great Recession to the Great Depression, including how the approaches taken by FDR & Obama were similar and different.
